California Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas |
California Hotel Casino, built in 1975, was the first Las Vegas property of what was to become Boyd Gaming which now has additional properties in Nevada, New Jersey, Louisiana, Illinois, Indiana and Mississippi. Situated in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, the Cal, as it is often referred, has evolved through the years more than doubling in size and becoming one of downtown premier properties.
The hotel features 781 relaxing guest rooms including 74 luxurious suites.
As
you enter the California, you'll be welcomed by the
richly-appointed lobby which is just a prelude to yet
another highlight- the tropical motif of its guestrooms.
The rooms' décor has taken a page from the Hawaiian
home of many of its frequent visitors and is enchanting,
comfortable, and a respite from the hustle and bustle
of the casino. It offers a true island atmosphere, right
in Downtown Las Vegas.
Travel across the "Bridge" that takes you
over the traffic of Downtown's main thoroughfare, Main
Street, and brings you right to Boyd Gaming 's Victorian-themed
casino, Main Street Station.
